I am a lecturer at the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Amikom Yogyakarta, and currently a PhD Candidate in the School of Computer Science at the University of Sheffield. I began my PhD studies in September 2023, supported by the LPDP-BPI (Beasiswa Pendidik Indonesia) scholarship. I am part of the NLP Research group at Sheffield, working under the supervision of Mark Stevenson. I obtained a Bachelor’s in Computer Science in 2006 and a Master’s in Informatics in 2013 from Universitas Gadjah Mada and Universitas Amikom, respectively.

Feb 2026, Our work on FinCausal 2026 Shared Task on Detection of Causal Statement within Financial Document has achieved the best score on English and Spanish tasks, outperforming 19 other teams.
Jul 2025, Our work has been presented at the Workshop on Explainability in Information Retrieval, SIGIR 2025, Padua, Italy.
Sep 2024, Alhamdulillah.. I have passed the Confirmation Review and have officially become a PhD Candidate at the School of Computer Science at the University of Sheffield.
Sep 2023, Bismillah.. I began my academic journey as a PhD student at the School of Computer Science at the University of Sheffield.
Jul 2023, Alhamdulillah.. I have passed the selection and been accepted as an awardee of BPI (Beasiswa Pendidik Indonesia) Kemendikbudristek in 2023.
